195 members of the Rwanda Defence Force have successfully completed a comprehensive seven-month Driving and Traffic Management course at Kanombe Barracks in Kigali.
During this period, the new drivers underwent training in safety driving, traffic management, and handling techniques for both heavy and light-duty vehicles in various operational contexts.
General MK Mubarakh, the RDF Chief of Defence Staff, presided over the pass-out ceremony and congratulated the graduates for achieving this significant milestone.
He emphasized the importance of RDF personnel being proficient in operating different vehicle types and reminded the new drivers to maintain discipline, professionalism, and to avoid consuming alcohol, which is a leading cause of accidents.
