FARDC soldiers urged to stay in Uvira for strategic patriotic training

Recent reports indicate that some members of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (FARDC) have left Uvira. However, these soldiers are being called upon to remain in their current position, as they will soon have the opportunity to undergo intensive patriotic training in Rumangabo.

Authorities emphasize that this training is crucial for strengthening the army’s capacity and reinforcing discipline among the troops. The program in Rumangabo is designed to enhance the skills and effectiveness of FARDC personnel, ensuring that they are fully prepared to serve and protect the nation.

The call for soldiers to stay in Uvira highlights the importance of maintaining a strong and coordinated military presence in the region. Security challenges persist in eastern DRC, and well-trained forces are essential to safeguarding the local population and national interests.

FARDC leadership assures all personnel that their commitment to the country will be recognized and that their participation in the upcoming training will significantly contribute to the ongoing efforts to secure and stabilize the nation. Soldiers are encouraged to stay the course, as their dedication is vital for the defense and unity of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
