A pastor named Mbarushimana Akim, well-known on TikTok and other social media platforms, is in hot water after three different women accused him of inappropriate behavior and misconduct that is unbecoming of a man of God.

The allegations first surfaced last Saturday during a TikTok Live session hosted by Godfather, where Pastor Akim confronted some of his accusers, including Gigi and Joanna.
Gigi, a mother who is currently separated from her partner, was the first to testify. She claimed she met Pastor Akim through TikTok, after which he requested her phone number.
Soon afterward, she said he started making video calls, during which he allegedly masturbated in front of her, an act that left her feeling sexually aroused and disturbed. Gigi stated she tried to stop him but to no avail.
She further revealed that Pastor Akim asked her to send him nude photos, which she refused. Later, he allegedly requested explicit videos and promised to help improve her life in return.
In response, Pastor Akim denied all accusations, claiming that it was actually Gigi who had sent him nude videos, and that they had been talking frequently because he loved her deeply. He even admitted to showing those videos to a friend.
Gigi, however, denied these claims, stating the videos in question were not hers and suggesting that Pastor Akim might have obtained such videos from other women and falsely attributed them to her.
She also said she is prepared to take the matter to the authorities, particularly the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB), accusing Pastor Akim of publicly sharing videos that don’t belong to her.
Joanna, another woman who shared her testimony, said she too met the pastor via TikTok. He allegedly showed her affection and told her he wanted her to be his “daughter.”
Later, he reportedly asked her to show him parts of her body where she had problems, specifically requesting pictures of her thighs. He claimed they were “paralyzed” and needed prayer.
Beyond that, Pastor Akim prophesied that Joanna would marry Ian Kagame, the son of President Paul Kagame—something that deeply confused her and made her question his integrity.
Another woman, a Rwandan actress known as Mama Sava, also came forward. She said she met Pastor Akim at a church where he had been invited to preach. He prophesied that she would marry Papa Sava, a well-known actor.
However, things escalated when he started calling her via video and asking her to show him where she sleeps. He also requested nude pictures, promising to make her his wife.
Mama Sava concluded that all these actions were nothing more than manipulation and sexual exploitation in disguise.
Pastor Akim has denied all accusations, claiming the women are just looking for fame on social media and are trying to ruin his reputation.
So far, no official statement has been made by law enforcement or religious institutions regarding the allegations.
Nevertheless, many have expressed concern about the behavior of self-proclaimed men of God who may be abusing their positions to exploit women using social media as a tool.
This testimony could mark the beginning of further revelations, with some people calling for a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind the case of Pastor Akim, a man who rose to fame through social media evangelism.
