The Path to Freedom: A Call for Congolese Youth to Rise

Thirty years of exile, thirty years of suffering and uncertainty, thirty years spent in refugee camps and the most remote corners of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Enough is enough. We have refused death and chosen to fight. Today, we embrace the path of liberation, a noble and inevitable struggle to guarantee every Congolese person the freedom and dignity they deserve.

For those still in refugee camps or living under the yoke of injustice and marginalization, know this: your liberation is in your hands. It is time to understand a fundamental truth: the world will offer us neither justice nor mercy. Only our dedication, unity, and unwavering willpower will allow us to reclaim our dignity and restore our rights.

History has taught us that oppressed peoples never find salvation in passive waiting. Freedom is a conquest. Every great nation has gone through moments of adversity and oppression, but it is through the courage and determination of its sons and daughters that it has managed to rise. The DRC is no exception.

We call upon the youth because the future of our nation lies within them. Do not let fear or resignation dictate your destiny. We must rise, organize, and act to break the chains of injustice. Our country is rich, our people are strong, but without determined action, we will remain prisoners of a system that denies us our most basic rights.

It is time to claim what is rightfully ours. The fight will be neither easy nor short, but every step we take toward freedom will be a step toward a better future for our children and generations to come. The time has come to take our destiny into our own hands.

Congolese youth, let us unite and march together toward liberation. History is watching us, and the future is ours.
